A vegan diet helps in preventing and healing cancer. Many studies support veganism as universally recommended for cancer prevention and healing. It offers a greater quantity of antioxidants and protective phytochemicals.
Animal foods are higher in heavy metals, environmental toxins, pesticide residues, and other carcinogens than plant foods, because animals are higher in the food chain and absorb and store toxins that they take in through plants or small animals. People with cancer may also need lots of zinc. You can find zinc in ginger, pecans, brazil nuts, split peas and lima beans as well as in whole grains. If you soak the grains overnight you will increase zinc absorption. Calcium is also an important nutrient for cleansing , and there are many plant foods that are well absorbed, although some green leafy vegetables high in oxalic acid, like spinach or swiss chard or beet greens interfere with calcium absorption. You need to eat other green vegetables for calcium like collards, turnips, kale, broccoli and mustard greens. One cup of kale contains more calcium than a cup of milk. Beans and tofu are also a good source, but watch out for coffee and sugar consumption that interferes with calcium. To enhance calcium absorption you need vitamin D. 15 minutes a day of sun exposure should ensure enough vitamin D to help with calcium absorption.
Vegans should watch for vitamin B12 deficiency. It is better to take a supplement along with a B complex vitamin.

ACID ALKALINE BALANCE

The cells need an alkaline balance, and also the blood must stay slightly alkaline between 7.35 and 7.45.

THE NEED FOR ORGANIC PRODUCE

There are some vegetables and fruits that are especially useful for fighting cancer. Cruciferous vegetables, tomatoes, garlic, onions, sea vegetables and seaweeds, essential fatty acids, like flax oil, whole grains and legumes, whole grains like barley, oats, quinoa, buckwheat, brown rice.
Try to avoid wheat. Use Legumes instead: beans lentils and split peas. Legumes and grains are better if soaked for 8 hours or overnight for cooking. Adding a pinch of ascorbic acid powder to neutralize any harmful molds that may be present. Then remove the soaking water, and let them cook on low heat, adding salt and veggies near the end.
Some spices are cleansing and cancer preventative like turmeric, rosemary, oregano, ginger, parsley, mint.
FRESH RAW JUICE
Raw juices are powerful healing tools. Their alkalinity fights cancer because cancer cells thrive more easily in an acidic environment. Also, they are packed with nutrients and enzymes.
